A particularly heart-warming story to readers who also got priced out of our native cities. Plus, I'm always glad to read of other people's contentment, and Eric Trules's gratitude for his situation is as it should be (but often isn't) when one is an elder: WISE. A wise man says happily: This Is Enough.
I was always a house-centric kinda guy. Always decorated, and made my domain, "my own", no matter how modest. Even "The Bozo Room" when I lived "up there" in the "church rectory" at MoMing. It's the Leo (king, as u say) in me!! Haha.
For many years I didn’t have a “formal” home. I did a lot of housesitting and when I was in between housesitting, I stayed upstairs in “the bozo room”. It was like my own private domain.😡😡
Oh Eric, I never saw this fluffy part of my life coming in the magic of New Mexico. What a beautiful story, I’m tempted to write my own, your list of rents is genius! Love you BIGGEST fan Trisha thanks for your beautiful stories!

What a story. A man's house is his castle and you seem to have
found yours and are King of it with your wife the Queen and son the Prince-
a royal family.
