...here, he could exist; "but mere existence is not enough," he sighed; " to live, one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower...optimist: a person who travels on nothing from nowhere to happiness...that a pansy is transitive, is it's only pang...
I loved it, Eric. In all three of your stories I learned so much more about you and each of my three friends from The Dance Troupe. How lucky I was and am to have been part of this wonderful group. And now to have a continue with us both landing up in Santa Fe.
That was a dynamite picture of Barbara. It made me miss her so much. Wish you had more pictures.
One of my favorite Barbara stories was that when she was diagnosed was being terminal, she went out and bought some fine linens and a set of wonderful dishes, If I’m remembering right. But it was something like that:,every day things that she had always wanted , but considered too much of a luxury.
That means SO MUCH TO ME. Donna. You're the only one left who knew THEM ALL! I was SURE you were going to ask me to change ONE WORD in this last piece. I won't tell you which one, but I know you know WHICH ONE. LOL. I was lucky to have searched and to have found that SINGLE PHOTO of Barbara!
Lots of LOVE to YOU, to our Dance Troupe, and TO our FALLEN DANCER-COMRADES who WE LOVED SOO WELL!!!!!

My faerie poet, who always sees the traveling romance in my life. Merci.
Reading your posts is engaging. It changes the way I write and think for a while afterward. Haha.
Be careful with that, Teddy Boy! 🤩😆🤠
Another absolute gem of a story. Thank you for being here and sharing your life with us.
All the best,
David
You’re very welcome, David. As always, thanks for reading and leaving a comment!
